Patching second computer to Heavensward, getting recurring "unable to patch" message.

I'm getting the "Unable to update patch files. [11006][20814][20831][19900][1117]" error repeatedly. Could not find error when I googled it.

It is too hot to run it on my regular rig, so I'm using my backup. My partner is playing on the PS4, and I don't have a PS4 copy.

If I understand you right the problem is on PC platform. And just when error takes place? After downloading the patch files? If yes, then it could be the problems with windows forbidding the launcher to overwrite the game folder files. I had the same problem, which never occured to me before, and I answered to myself in the thread Trolling with Unable to update patch files. I hope this will help to solve your problem.
