    CE Artbook Crushed, Support Options

    So, I received my PC CE yesterday. The shipping box was in great shape, and the collectors box inside was in great shape too. So I went ahead and opened up the wrapper and box and discover that my artbook has a crushed corner and it has bent all the pages in that corner and more importantly, looks extremely ugly.

    The first thing I do is take some pictures of the book, did some searching and found the support system on their website (I bought from NA SE Store). I went ahead and filled out the form and submitted it and I also sent an email to the email listed on my invoice in my package. I then packed things up and put them away.

    It has been 24 hours since then and I have yet to hear back from either inquiry, so I attempted calling the support line listed on the invoice, only to be told by a machine to go online and fill out the form.

    Does anyone have any ideas for how I can get this resolved? Kind of in a time crunch since we only have until Saturday to redeem code or lose access to HW content.

    I'm positive that they are extremely busy and will probably take at least another day or two before they can get back to you, but otherwise, I think that was pretty much what I would have done if I were you. There's not much else you can do, as far as I know.

    I know of at least one other person who has this same problem. It almost seems like the art books suffered damage prior to being boxed, because they also said the box was just fine.

    For a costly CE that's too bad, especially given that the book was the main draw for a lot of people.

    For damaged goods, I doubt they'll have you return it, though, to be honest. Unless you ask for a refund.
    If anything, they'll send you a replacement book. At least, that's what any good company would do.

    Hope you hear from them soon, if only to confirm that you can take your game out of the book and grab your code.

    Why would you only have a few days to put in your code in the first place? That seems like an arbitrary restriction. Even minions given with special limited time releases like the Dalamud from the OST had, like, a year where you could enter the code. I don't think they expire that fast. You should perhaps double-check the time on that (but I hope you get a fast response from customer support anyway!)

    27th is when Early Access ends. He doesn't want to claim the HW code before he gets it resolved.

    I think they just don't want to use the code until they've heard back from SE, while the early access period ends on the 27th.

    More than 72 hours and still no word. Losing early access in 15 min. *Sigh* I have heard others say that can get support on the line, but I can't figure out how. Phone still saying use the internet, internet not getting me a response.

    I'm in the same situation, only the damage to mine is on the bottom of the spine. Really disappointed to hear that it happened to someone else too.
