    black screen freezing computer

I am doing my main scenario quest and when ever i get out of the town and head towards the camp quest my screen goes black and then my computer freezes.

This is only an issue in FF14 i play aion/ metro last light/ elder scrolls online and this does not happen on any other game.

If anyone knows about this issue or can point me to a thread that has this issue covered already would be much appreciated thank you.

Ok now it started happening again main scenario quests its happening on.

    Shock and Awe
    The gift of eternity
    and a few before them.

i forgot what the other 1s were but its causing my whole computer to freeze and make a buzzing noise in my headset.

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz

    Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
    Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Gaming graphics 7750 MB Total available graphics memory
Primary hard disk 57GB Free (112GB Total)

That is my computer specs and as far as i can see from looking at the errors in my event log, Python Service is the cause. I do not know what this is and what it has to do with ff14 so if anyone knows please let me know.

Python is a programming language. It’s used for many different applications - what official site says, but ity's kinda fishy the numerous applications are mostly online casino and stuff. Apparently some of HP/Compaq’s administrative tools are written in Python. Also, all Apple computers running Mac OS X have Python installed; it’s included in the base installation. But I'm clueless what is has to to with Final Fantasy. Try to use process explorer to find out why do you have process running, cause it's absolutely not a part of windows. Maybe not having application which needs Python running will help you.

nvidia 970. There is your answer, lemme guess, EVGA? Super Clocked perhaps? It is a known issue and it is terrible, whole computer goes black and crashes and only happens in FFXIV with DX11 in particular. Read through the threads on here and reddit and you will see exact thing with people with 970 card right now.
