    I dunno if its a reference or just a coincidence, but doing a lv 58 quest with two mammets who were shouting "Exterminate...exterminate!" Instantly made me think Doctor Who. Also another boss in Vault who yells "I have the power" thinking HeMan

    The Great Library, the Page 64 enemies and the boss Byblos comes from FFV.

    The entire zone of Azys Lla is an ode to a common location type in previous Final Fantasies. It joins the Sky Castle (FF1, it even has Tiamat), Floating Continent (FF3), Ronka Ruins(FF5), Floating Continent (FF6, it even has a Waring Triad within) and Sky Fortress Bahamut (FF12) as a major floating location.

    Apart from the massive amount of GoT references, and the Griffin mount and the Great Gubal Library instantly making me feel like I was in Harry Potter?

    I'm not sure if these are intended or not, but...
    Sidequest "Louder Than Words" - the title of Pink Floyd's only track with lyrics on their last album, The Endless River.
    That "swish-swish-aroo" phrase of the brooms in Matoya's cave - reminded me of the chimneysweeper's song from Mary Poppins, Chim Chim Cher-ee.
