    Need Help : Leveling Guide

Okay so, i am relatively new and need some help. Is there a link to an up to date leveling guide with the release of heavensward or any guides in terms of leveling from 1-50 in general that can still be used? I just want to know how to level from 1-50, what to do, if there are any main story quests or side quests to do to help get gear, etc. If anyone can give me a detailed leveling guide from 1-50 and what to do, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Just to clarify, i need a level guide in terms of character leveling, not side jobs like culinarian, weaver etc.

I'm not sure why you'd need a guide.

If you just pick up the first quest in Limsa Lominsa, do what it says, pick up the next and pick up any others in the area you naturally end up in while doing the quests, you will progress in the story and in levels. The game has an excellent tutorial and help system (called Active Help, can be accessed from the menu that comes up when you click Esc), and if you read through each Active Help item as it comes up, it will explain a lot. There are main story quests and side story quests and you should do them all, and run dungeons when you are sent into them by the quests. These story quests will also explain a lot as you go along, and other side things to do to gain xp will be pointed out and explained via the quests.

Edit: If you really think you need a guide, here's what Google has to say:

Here is a list of all the quests that are called Main Scenario Quest. It's a long linear quest line that tells you the story of the game and the quests are marked with a flaming quest icon.

If it's your first time leveling, it's highly recommended that you do those quests, because they introduce you to the game and unlock things. If you don't reach a required level for the next step in the line just by doing the scenario, you can do side quests (regular quest icon) and fates in the area. Other good ways of getting exp are guildhests, dungeons, hunting log (enemies with a yellow icon on their name) and levequests (repeatable, although best when saved for crafting). The challenge log gives you free exp if you complete an objective, for example do 20 fates, and you get a notification if you are close to finishing one.

These other things are usually only required if you are leveling a second time with a different class, and on your first time leveling it's best to follow the main scenario. If you dislike your class choice, you can pick another and catch up to the main scenario's level with the side objectives I mentioned. Don't forget to do the class quests every 5 levels, found in the guild for each class. At 30 you can turn your class into a job, making it more effective.

Note that you do need to do ALL the Main Scenario Quests (or what I called story quests above--oops) so that you can progress to the new content in the Heavensward xpac. It doesn't matter what combat class you do them on--so like Reinha said, if you dislike your class choice you can pick another and level it to the point in the MSQ where you left off and continue on--but you do have to do them all.

Yeah, your first time through its msq pretty much all the way. Do your low level and guildhest Roulettes as often as possible and you shouldn't have to stop and do much else along the way. At 50 there will be lots of dungeons to unlock and ftb will take care of ilvl requirements for the few times you may hit a wall.
