    The Real Problem With FFXIV

It's too good. Every job is fun so it's hard to commit to one.

I decided on Ninja for main after like a week of flitting between so many.

Now for an alt I can't decide between Dragoon, Summoner or Warrior.

If this were a bad game some classes wouldn't be fun and it would be easy to pick.

    Then pick them under scenarios.

SMN can help you on runs you know you have to deal with a great deal of enemies or just want to play ranged DPS instead of melee.
WAR is a tank, so of course you just have to keep it for the moments you wanna/need to tank.
I can see the problem with DRG - NIN tho, since they are both melees... but alternating can give quite the fresh feel.

Well maintaining high ilvl for 4 classes is quite the undertaking. I love the lore and feel and power behind Dragoon, however I have the same reasons for loving Warrior and so far I don't have a tank on this character, only my other character which is why I know the 1-50 story for warrior despite it appearing impossible based on a look at this character.

However summoner also had a good story and I love Pet classes like Ranger in GW/2 and Necromancer, Warlock and Hunter from WoW, etc...

It's well hard to pick. If I had the time to raid and gear on all of them it would be no problem but I do not so very focused and very narrow seems my choice. I can only maintain Ninja and have a "side class" for just incase.

However raids always seem to have tank slots filled and I don't have a static Atm... Ugh so many variables and too much fun for all ;(

Well, a nice thing of maxing out many classes is that you can pick a "flavor for the day", I arrived at a point in ARR where I just couldnt use NIN for anything ouside Expert roulette because it hit too hard... so I was like "today I feel like being a BLM".

Having a main only means it'll be your "first option", but that doesnt mean you can't have another class overgearing it or equalling it.

There is time, you can build up the 4, or even all the classes. And hell, Im pretty sure there are statics out there looking for Tanks!
