Leveling Retainers

Hi! Forgive me if this is posted elsewhere or extremely obvious, but is there something special we need to do to level our retainers from 50-60? I've sent mine out on a few explorations and they've come back saying they're at max level at 50. I don't see anything in the patch notes, so it's probably something right in front of my face I'm missing.

The class u have it under needs to be leveled. So if you're main class is 55 blm, and your retainer is 50 blm, your retainer will lvl. If you have a lvl 50 min, and a lvl 50 min as a retainer. The min will not level. Retainers only lvl as high as your class lvl it matches.

I did too at first. Lvld my blm n my retainer went up... then puzzled why my other retainer weren't. And then remembered. . Lol

I'm just happy they didn't bring back the requirement that your class be five levels over the retainer's for them to level. Was pleasantly surprised when my retainers started getting xp when I'd only hit 51.
