Someone talked about adding a sickly green aura to the zombie effect and I liked that idea. It would be very noticeable! I do, in fact, have a macro to let healers know I'm zombie HEAL ME LOTS!

For such a macro you just have to write

/p What ever text you want

so what ever text you want get's displayed in the party chat.

For myself I use

/ac Totenerweckung <me>
/p The Bird of Hermes is my name,
/p eating my wings to make me tame.
/makroicon Totenerweckung

as I went with an Alucard stylish look as my armor. (sorry for the german terms but I use Auto-translate ingame^^)

But to get back to the topic as Dark Side is a bugged I'm going to report it myself too.
