How has your rotation change my fellow Paladins?

I like to open with at Level 58,

Fight or Flight - Spirits Within - Scorn - Flash x3 - RoH Combo - The new Riot Blade Combo - RoH Combo - etc

I pop cooldowns throughout a fight usually start with Rampant and Foresight and then roll into Sheltron (love this ability).

So, what's it like at Level 60? I'm curious to know!

On single targets I start with a Goring Blade combo then if necessary for mitigation/enmity RoH combo otherwise I use a Royal Authority combo and Royal Authority follows after whichever. Repeat until dead. Spirits Within, Sheltron and CoS are all used as close to cooldown unless I need to uses them to deal with mechanics.

My multitarget is Flash x2 -> Goring Blade 1st target -> Flash x2 -> GB 2nd target Flash x2 -> GB 3rd target -> (GB 1st -> RA -> RA) until all targets are dead. oGcDs Sheltron and oGcDs are used on cooldown. This does a very good job of generating multitarget enmity and dealing damage while keeping targets Blind for as much as possible.

When you say this you mean the combo right? Or are you just using only Goring Blade? Also is it really necessary to use Flash that many times? Genuinely asking, I'm a new tank.

The only thing that has changed for me is that when I have extra emnity I switch to doing Goring blade. It really depends on your gear vs your party on how much you can use gorin blade for the extra dps. In terms of purely holding hate, nothing has changed. The added abilities just give us more dps. Also, I don't have a set routine, but I would never open with all of my off cooldowns in a row. using spirits within, circle of scorn, and then flash x2 (as the first 4 abilities in the original post) means you have 3 abilities back to back then have to wait for a GCD (its 4 abilities back to back). However doing spirits within, flash, circle of scorn, flash... generates the same amount of emnity but without having to wait for a GCD. Doing it that way will give you an edge on keeping hate. Through the course of a boss fight where your off cooldowns may come up multiple times, this will get you in some extra abilities to help maintain hate and increase dps.

A bit of math for the the combos.

    Enmity:
    Goring Blade combo: 920 (150 + 230 + 220 + 8 ticks of 40) or 306 per GcD
    Rage of Halone: 1800 (150 + 600 + 1050) or 600 per GcD
    Royal Authority: 1090 (150 + 600 + 340) or 363 per GcD

GB -> RoH -> RA: 3810 or 423 per GcD
GB -> RoH -> RoH: 4520 or 502 per GcD
GB -> RA -> RA: 3100 or 344 per GcD
    RoH x3: 5400 or 600 per GcD

    Damage:
    Goring Blade: 920 (150 + 230 +220 + 8 ticks of 40) or 306 per GcD
    Rage of Halone: 610 (150 + 200 + 260) or 203 per GcD
    Royal Authority: 690 (150 +200 + 340) or 230 per GcD

GB -> RoH -> RA: 2220 or 246 per GcD
GB -> RoH -> RoH: 2140 or 237 per GcD
GB -> RA -> RA: 2300 or 255 per GcD
    RoH x3: 1830 or 203 per GcD

Why would you waste seconds on Fight or Flight just to flash 3 times? Flash does no damage, so that's like, what, 7 seconds of no increased damage? As far as I know, Flash also counts as a magic attack, so the enmity potency isn't even increased by Fight or Flight since it's for physical damage only.

If you're gonna open with Flash, you should probably do it BEFORE popping Fight or Flight.

Unless things have changed, Flash scales with strength / physical damage so FoF does work...it is still silly to pre-pop FoF just to Flash though..

Weapon damage, strength, and determination all effect the enmity generation of Flash, but physical damage buffs do not.

Sorry but I laughed so hard that you flash 3 times. XD
As a tank myself, I don't have a fixed rotation because I'm flexible, I tank accordingly.

Spirits > Fast Blade > Shelltron > Riot > FoF > Scorn > Goring > Shield Swipe > RoH Combo > Royal Authority Combo > Goring Combo.

This will get two Scorns and two Goring blades under FoF and nothing is going to really be able to get hate off you fast enough.

FoF can prob be moved earlier especially to catch the first spirits with it, but my priority is to get two Gorings and CoSs during the duration and while you can with perfect use of the GCDs above, I rarely have the opportunity for it as I'm usually running around dodging stuff. I moved FoF into the combo and hit two Gorings with it far more consistently.
