The Perfect Mount

Nothing tops off your Warrior of Light better than the perfect beast or machine to ferry you around Eorzea. Wether you prefer a Behemoth to tote you around the snowy peaks of Coerthas, a Bomb Palanquin that will keep your feet dry as you scoot through Rootslake, or your tried and true Chocobo to fly you across the Dravanian Hinterlands without a scratch, mounts are one of my favorite parts about Final Fantasy XIV!

There is one mount, however, that had the potential to outclass them all. Griffons, dragons, personal airships, and even Twintania could not hold a Tallow Candle to its glory. It's an item that isn't even new to the game! It's been seen and used once before! Making it available to players would not only be fun and incredible for us, but it would push Final Fantasy XIV to new heights. What mount would that be and why would it be so perfect? Well, all you have to do is ask your local Gentleman Detective, that is, if he ever comes back from outer space...

Why yes! The Treaty-Blade! Imagine the feeling of the wind in your hair as you soar through the skies of Ishgard, held aloft by the power of its majesty alone. What could possibly be a more perfect mount? It stands to reason that this power is exactly what Gil- Greg was searching for all along! The power of legendary sword assisted flight! Soar the Sea of Clouds! Barrel roll with Bismarck!

Everyone on the FFXIV team, I know you probably get suggestions every single day that make so little sense it hurts. I can only imagine how many times you've been asked this or that. I sympathize, I truly do! However, this I know to be true in the center of my crystal heart: The Treaty-Blade, as the greatest mount to have ever existed, should be made available to all of Eorzea's heroes, for only with that could we boldy go where no Gentleman has gone before.
