Hello everyone,

I was thinking about a way to make the current classes more unique without doing extreme changes and came up with the following idea:

Right now the biggest contributing factor for not having class uniqueness is the fact that you can equip almost any ability from any class until your action points run out. Thus making a mixture of a lot of different classes.

I think we should go back to what worked, which is a sub job type of system. Instead of allowing a player to equip many different abilities from many different classes, they should only get to pick one other class to pick abilities from. Also, it would only show abilities from the second class that are within half of your rank range for that job.

For example: I'm a rank 10 conjurer, and instead of getting abilities from many different classes, I can only choose one other class which will be Thaumaturge for this example. When I choose Thaumaturge, I see a list of abilities for that class up to rank 5 only, for that is half of my current rank of conjurer.

With this system, most of my abilities will be from the conjurer class because I will have more to choose from than the abilities from the thaumaturge class which is rank 5.

This is just a up-in-the-air-idea, so please if you think you can tweak it a little better, shoot some ideas.
