I just got flamed extremely hard when trying to level my MCH

I can only agree with La_Bluegirl... sure it sucks that Gauss Barrel is useless outside aoe and our burst phase every 90 seconds, but at least we dont have to cast anything . in the level 60 dungeons i was doing i was normally first one in dps 179 gear so our dps is fine imho. only thing that sucks is that thanks to our burst being very high, our dmg outside of it is really mediocre, which leads to us beeing almost useless for doing small adds that arent in one place, but thats honestly the only problem i'm seeing with this job currently, sure we arent the best dps class but you seriously shouldnt forget that we at least are able to restore tp and mp for our group. if you have a mechanist in your group thats not pulling the highest numbers its most likely the player at fault not the job.... obviously this is in 4 man dungeons, where the fights arent that long... but like i said our sustain damage could be a little higher

The last trial fight in Heavensward... The last time I did it we had 3 bards. That was the slowest I have ever seen that fight go, so I imagine the 3xMCH setup would be equally slow. Pre-50, MCH damage didn't seem noticeably terrible or anything. I'm planning on taking MCH up as my next job as it interests me despite it being what it is.

I will say though, if they use their knockback, I'll just switch to a new target and ignore whatever they want to slap around. If after asking for them to stop, they keep doing it, I'll just initiate a vote kick. I don't really have the patience to see the mobs flying all over the place needlessly.
