If they're so sure that they don't have the competence to make a run go smoothly based on the presence of any one job, don't be too hard on them. You should look on them with pity.

It may be that these few are unwilling to learn to play at a reasonable capacity, but when they realise and come around, it's going to be a painful, self-eating experience knowing how far just a little thought-investment could have went. Nobody wants to be in the position they're in.

It may suck that you're sometimes the victim of someone vastly inferior to yourself. The majority of us have to deal with it from time to time. But those very people are the ones facing the real misfortune. Sympathise for those with worse cognitive capabilities.
