If their excuse is "we don't want to roll back and you lose stuff" - which at the moment stands of a maximum of 15 seconds of "stuff", player poll it! Ask us if we'd be happy to lose a minute of our time if that doubled/tripled/quadrupled our inventory...I bet I can guess the outcome...and that's only IF the server crashes, so it's a tiny inventory for those times the server crashes where you'd lose the last minute of your time (if in that minute you got an item in to your inventory) - talk about catering for a niche set of circumstances!

...which leads me to believe what he said was actually a lie - or at least a gross exaggeration of the truth. I won't speculate as to what the truth actually is: plenty of people have a few, probably accurate, ideas.

Thats another thing... 15 seconds seems way too excessive for the off chance that servers crash. Even if they did, 15 seconds is nothing. Id hate to lose hours maybe, so long as it doesnt happen every day. I think this happened to me once during WoW around its release, lost 2-3 hours... sucked but it happens. Never happened again. Ive played quite a few MMO's since then and havent had a rollback happen. Has there been an actual server crash in this game yet?
