I'm happy with my 8 retainers.

And this why we won't be getting any more free inventory space. Why give it for free when you can charge extra money for it every month. Renting retainers for real money is stupid. If they want to go this route and charge for inventory space they should at least have retainers in the cash shop for a flat fee and then you own that retainer forever. As it is now you are just renting that extra space.

I'd love more inventory space, but lets not pretend that this is something new with SE. In FFXI it was called paying for extra characters to use them as mules.

I just want a Glamour Log or gear-set tickets(like in FFXI) If I could have a Glamour Log that would free up at least 1 full retainer for me.

And yeah, a glamour log is really needed. Half the stuff on one of my retainers is just gear that I'm keeping for glamours. Didn't they mention adding an item log a very long time ago?

I would rather have more space and I could even live with up 15mins rewrite times if it takes that long... which i don't think it would get that high...

And I can't even start gathering or crafting again all that much with almost not space and I'm not paying for 3 more retainers! They could added 2 free retainers then pay for 2 more retainers would have been good.

I'm hoping they're just holding off to see how many people are willing to pay for them. What's going on here is that paid retainer services, and the mogshop, are financing additional housing servers. I get that, I'm one that doesn't have a house cause they're not available, not cause I don't have gil. Imo, we should be getting 1 included retainer for the expack, I'd still keep the 2 extra I'm paying for.

It's the FC chest that annoys me. Between gardening and now the workshop this is just asinine. There is so much an fc should have on hand that we can't because reasons. It is very discouraging towards FC cooperation when people have to have additional characters to supplement the fc chest. I'm on ps3 and logging out and back in cause someone needs something takes a lot more time than I should have to invest.

Except for when you defeat T13, get the weapon you've been grinding for, then you d/c, or crash when zoning. Obviously situational, but I know it happens, and having the fastest possible update time is kind of needed to help prevent the potential loss of items. So I understand why they are trying to be very careful with this.
