Anyone else having a problem with Eyefinity and Direct X 11. I cannot set the a resoltion over 1920x1200 for a 3 monitor setup. Nothing close to the 5760 x 1200 I was used to running on.

Yes, have the same problem. Crossfire also doesn't work. Very frustrating. If it doesn't get added before my sub renewal in July, I'll be cancelling for sure.
Thanks for responding, makes me feel better that someone else is encountering the same thing. Other games there was a workaround that you could go into a certain INI file and put the resolution you needed in the list. Anyone know how to do that for FF xiv?
Nvidia Surround works, so does SLI. I'm assuming this will be coming in an upcoming hotfix and/or driver update from AMD.
That's not an excuse. Square Enix dropped the ball on this in a massive way in my opinion. Might cost them at least one long-term customer (me) if it isn't fixed fast.
I have the same issue, and I've tried modifying the .cfg file manually to an eyefinity resolution, but it reverts to default as soon as the game starts so it doesn't work.
I made a post with pictures of the resolution options in my system here
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...lution-options
If you want to give it a try yourself, you can find the .cfg file here

Crossfire works fine for me on DX11 as long as I'm in fullscreen mode. If you switch over to borderless window mode to get to eyefinity resolutions then crossfire will stop working.
I've tried every combination I can come up with to get CF working in DX11. I even forced CF in Catalyst - the game artifacted so badly the login page was unplayable.....
Crossfire is working for me on two R9 290x cards here. However, when using DX11 I get names of PCs/NPCs/Companions/etc. corrupted and wrong a lot of the time. I also get crashes at time where it turns off all 3 monitors and I have to power cycle to get the cards back into a stable state. Going to DX9 stops all of this but I lose about 20% of my FPS rate and it looks no where near as good. I've not tried Eyefinity as that would crash the DX9 sub system if I turned the graphics up and since the DX11 client also uses a lot more memory I expect it to be even worse. The game seems to only be able to access about 3GB of memory and once I go over 3,000MB used of VRAM things start to get really odd.
I just updated to the 15.6 Beta drivers that came out 3 days ago to see if that helps at all.
urgh. just typed out a huge reply to this and then lost it. short version:
-DX9 was absolute garbage on AMD. Crash crash crash. that's what happens with an ancient standard that no developers use anymore.
-Your 2 290xs sound like they're keeping up better than my 2 7970s
-DX11 should fix crash problems entirely due to not ancient standard. So far I can max out 1080p with high frame rate on DX11 easily, no crashes.
Well, my in game ticket was just replied to. Apparently they do not support multi-monitor.
Verbatim:
"Unfortunately that service is not available. We do not support 2 or 3 monitor play for a FFXIV: A REALM REBORN."
Complete garbage. 2.0 supported it just fine. Why not 3.0?
