I am not having any issues at all. I am not at 58 and 500k into the 3.4M for 59. I have a ton of side quests left over. What you need to do is every time you unlock a new dungeon is to grind it for a level while questing so you don't burn out all your quest...don't you want some left for your alts also??? You are never going to be able to fully level off quests...not how the game is designed.

My PLD started on the 19th with 240k XP from Lv 45+4 Leves that I prepared before the patch. Then:
    • Did hunts from 20th (they only start at Lv 53)
    • Did only one day's worth of High Level + Low Level + Trials + Main + Guild Order Roulettes (other days I did them on my WHM)
    • Joined a total of 5 FATEs
    • Repeated 2 of the dungeons 3 times each to help out FC friends

So you don't need to chain run dungeons nor grind FATEs or Leves. If you have been doing the daily roulettes (remember they all give EXP before you ding 60, even the main roulette) then you should only need to run each new dungeon once to progress the story and you should have enough EXP to ding 60 from finishing all the quests.

I have never ran out of quests to do. I did get gated by the main quest level three times at 56, 59, and 60, but all three times I simply advanced too fast into the main story quests and neglected the side quests. Once I take care of the side quests, I shoot over the threshold easily.

If you constantly find yourself with zero quests to do and still ways off your mark, it means either you've not being doing all the roulettes (Main roulette, for example, easily gives 200k a pop, trial roulette gives 100k, etc), or you have seriously overlooked a quest hub and there are simply still side quests available.

Note that the game sometimes send you back to previous zones or the Ishgard city and that will open up new series of side quests. It's easy to overlook this for people who are intent on progressing the main quest and neglect on side quests.

I've hardly done any sidequests... the dungeons give excellent xp and also gear, so I prefer doing a dungeon a few times to level up instead of fetchquests. But if you are doing ALL sidequests and roulettes, that should basically be enough I would think. Are you opposed to running dungeons more than once?

Well, I've been running Vault as questing left me stranded halfway through 58. I'm not a huge fan of rerunning dungeons as I consider them to be a part of the story. Once should be enough. TBH I'm more into Gathering and Crafting than end game stuff so once a DoM/DoW job is done I just abandon it and move onto the next one (evidenced by the fact I don't have Hard or Ex roulettes open and I never did any of Crystal Tower or Coil). The Armory bonus should come in handy for grinding FATES and whatnot afterwards.

Having an opinion does not make you right or wrong, it simply means you have an opinion. Don't get irritated when people don't agree.

    1 star 23k per page x 5 is roughly 115k exp
    2 star 28k per page x 5 is roughly 140k exp
    3 star 33k per page x 5 is roughly 165k exp

so the 3 daily bill marks from ishgard gives 420 exp roughly not sure on exact numbers but all 3 are around that really helpful with leveling.. i have more or less 3/4 hinterlands and all of last map sidequests left and will be 60 after a couple of libary runs 2night ;/ so if do your bill marks while questing n dungeon runs will never hit the level block for next quests ;/

I think some of you that had no issues likely had full rest.

I didn't. I hauled arse to get cross class skills for AST, BRD(never finished LNC) and keep a healer up to heal for a friend of mine as he levels slow(46 SCH).

I started mid May. Started HW with 50 bard, 46 scholar, summoner, 26 thaumaturge, 34 white mage, 30 Dragoon.

    No rest xp.
