    Apologizes in advance if there has already been a discussion about this but was wondering how to activate your physical copy of heavensward without the install and all that. Simply put it in or is there somewhere to put the code?

    Yes, it register then Heavensward to your PSN account.
    Then start FF XIV new and it link it also to your SE account (be sure to choose the right service account if you use more than 1)
