I have a secret to tell. From my electrical well. It's a simple message and I'm leaving out the whistles and bells. So the room must listen to me Filibuster vigilantly. My name is blue canary one note* spelled l-i-t-e. My story's infinite Like the Longines Symphonette it doesn't rest- TMBG Birdhouse in your Soul
A huge THANK YOU!!!! For FINALLY selling the Meteor Survivor Polo on the store. AND a huge thanks to my friend who bought it for me while he was at Fan Fest!!! YES I finally have my POLO!!!
People have issues with it because it takes time to do it. These same people will complain they are bored when they hit 60 and bitch about having to grind tomes. I just ignore it and move on. Not going to let them ruin my game.
Not much issues with either. But the quests do get a little overwhelming when they all pop at once...heh
I really enjoy finding the aether currents as well. Kinda reminds me of GW2 and finding the different POIs and Vistas. I've also taken so many beautiful screenshots from the exploration.
Agreed! I loved that they did this! FFXIV needed Exploration type things to do, and it delivers! Aether currents especially makes me feel I accomplished something when I completed all the Aether Currents! I Hope they do this for Future areas and even past areas. With all the negativity in other threads I thought we should have a thread for the vocal minority of us that thinks there wasn't any real issue with the way HW content quests & unlocks were implemented.
I breezed through the Moogle section with nearly no issue at all.
I actually liked how rewarding it felt to unlock flight in each zone. Just giving it to you outright would greatly shorten the game, and take away your real feeling of exploration.
Great Job SE!
The reason I find Moodle quests annoying is because I pay attention to why they say and do and it's obnoxious.
Everything else I.e. Side quest is good though
While I really don't have a problem with the Moogle quests (they were lots of easy exp), having to do soooo many was a bit exhausting. Rewarding, but exhausting.
I really enjoyed the whole experience. The moogles, while repetitive, were just slightly enough different to give a new spin on the subject. And i read all the mission text every time. As for the Aether Currents, I really enjoyed trying to find them as well. I can't say how many times i ran around a 100 square yalm area because the current was actually way above me on another island. I just laughed and figured i would get to it eventually. That's the other thing, the entire way from 50 to 60 i used 5 leve quests. FIVE! the rest were once through each dungeon and trial, exploration, aether currents, and side quests. That got me to within 1 mil xp of making 60. So far a very satisfied customer here.
People also need to realize that the game has barely been up for a while since launch. Once you complete the currents you wont have to do it again for the rest of the expansion (unless they add some more zones, but I doubt that).
And fetch quests are useful, or would folks rather grind Fates and leves for ages? XD
I can safely say that I'm very glad we had to explore for Aether points. After actually getting all the points and being able to fly, it was great. However, if I had been able to do so from the beginning, it would have felt empty and pointless to even fill out the zone with anything. Plus it gave me a feeling of accomplishment, even if it wasn't hard, it was still something I worked for.
I also love exploration in MMOs, so that was a plus as well.
