I understand that it was easier for them to look into that problem. But nevertheless, just seeing a lack of response from Square Enix on the matter makes it look like they brush off a part of their customer base and are going with the "Deal with it" way. Hopefully, we see something soon because there's not much time left.
That or they're already looking into it and saying nothing until they have something to report. Sometimes the mods get slated when they just say "looking into it" without more than that.
