    I am in the same situation and my package is supposed to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

    Package got routed to customs office in Montreal, Quebec, then got bounced back to the USA after clearing customs?

    This exact same situation happened before when I pre-ordered the collector's edition of Final Fantasy Type-0

    This experience has left a real sour taste in my mouth. Why can't Square Enix send out the serial numbers through the website, instead of attaching them to the physical product? Especially when it's considered time sensitive.

    I'm probably going to order a digital copy through the SE Store, but hoping I get some kind of credit / compensation. I was one of the first to preorder this product several months ago...

    The 'going back to Miami' that some people got is a scanning mistake. The same thing happened to me on FF Type-Zero, where the information on its physical location is wrong from some reason. If it's at the custom, that means it's close by, so you won't waste a week more. I contacted USPS and Pepitastore about this, served no purpose, and next day it arrived at my door.

    That said, I have the same problem with this preorder, where it keeps getting stuck at customs or whatever, and takes almost a week more. Furthermore, I was on vacation this week, so I was home to receive it. But since it's not likely to arrive today, I will be back at work monday. Which means they will attempt to deliver the game, and I won't be here, they will leave a little paper to tell me to come pick it up at the post office on the next day. So I won't get access before tuesday.

    An extension of a few days for those in trouble would not kill them or their wallets, and would be greatly appreciated by all concerned.

    I'm really pissed SE hasn't said a damn thing about this. I Tried contacting their support and I got hung up on, and disconnected on their chat thing after waiting a few hours. I really don't want to be locked out of something I've frigging paid for because their screw up. UGH

    We paid for a delivery and a product that aren't available to us and the company responsible for it isn't taking care of the problem as far as we know because they are being silent on the issue.

    And what's more, the content we are paying for will be blocked to us for a mistake we are no part of. The reason for the second code and the end of the early access is to make sure no one takes a free ride through Heavensward and to make sure that you paid for the expansion. Putting the code in the actual physical box appears to me to be a logistical mistake that we are now paying the price for. Everyone, whether physical or digital should get their code through e-mail as to avoid the situation we are now seeing.

    We are in a similar situation with the DIGITAL copy! You know, the one where there is NOTHING to post, so by rights should be paid for and active on day of release, not a matter of hours before we lose access, still NO code via email, support was contacted but we got a very rude, terse reply of "We never promised to have it ready on release day!" and NO answer to our actual question of what we are supposed to do when they refuse to even process our frelling order - which was made 2-3 MONTHS ago - I am thinking we are going to have to take this further if nothing is produced by tomorrow, and find which Trading Standards agency we can contact over this farce. BBC's Watchdog would no doubt be very interested.

    It just strikes me as odd. I pre-ordered this the hour it was available on the NA shop and yet somehow I still don't have the item on time. Absolutely mind blowing. Particularly since in other locales folks were actually receiving theirs a day or so early. The sheer number of day early unboxing vids I got to see from my EU friends was astounding.

    I agree, I was more playing devil's advocate. And when it comes to the early access code there's no way anyone could take it for a free ride through HW because you had to have preordered HW to get the code to begin with, so that early access code is proof of purchase and I reckon they should just extend it by a weekend.

    Same thing here. I've pre-ordered the hour it was availabe. But then again, this has no bearing on shipping prioirty. It's just very frustrating to see.

    You could have actually canceled your order and the EA code would still be active until the 27th unless I'm mistaken in some way.
