I like the Ixali. Was a really boring movie though.
Ixali couldn't get a stronghold in Black Shroud. The hedge keeps them out. The best they can do is send in scouting parties to hunt for food.
If there was gonna be a beastmen stronghold in the Shroud, it'd be for the Sylphs.
Still, yeah, Black Shroud is gonna be restructured, along with other zones.

Makes me wonder why they are going to the effort of adding things to zones if they are going to redesign them. I guess they have to add something though, redesigns will take months.
I would think their plan is to not have to redesign any new zones they add, only the ones that already exist.
Makes me even more interested to see the level design of the strongholds.

They can revise the map without completely changing every single detail.Q: What is your favorite zone in FFXIV?
Yoshida: Central Mor Dhona, where the remains of the fallen airship can be seen. The place oozes with a sense of adventure. I'm hoping to create more places like this when we revise the map - and make sure there's plenty of content to compliment them!

This. The Ixali venture into the woods for hunting, not because it's where they live. Not to mention the guilds in Gridania is constantly working to keep they away. Even now there's already an Ixali camp in Coerthas and a smaller one in the Black Shroud, near coerthas exit.Ixali couldn't get a stronghold in Black Shroud. The hedge keeps them out. I wonder if the spelling of U'Ghamaro is just a romanization of the Japanese name, or if it's just a typo. Because the name is clearly O'Ghomoro, as evidenced by the world map and items/NPCs in-game: http://ffxiv.yg.com/search?s=O%27Ghomoro.

U'Ghamaro is obviously just the name of the mines.
Kobold are probably just starved for syllables or something so all their places sound the same.
