    As to this I have to say Shadow Flare is something whilst it is not new. The effects for Ruin 3, Tri Disaster, Deathflare and the activation for Dreadwyrm Trance are all amazing.

    Please don't act like SMN's have "nothing"...

    Now MCH definitely needs some work on the animations, compared to every other job it is extremely bland imo. Just the tracer idea for the turret would improve the job effects x10000.

    I think you misunderstood the post you quoted. He meant that Dreadwyrm Trance has no animation to even indicate it is active. It just has a casting animation and then 15s of an invisible buff. Given that all other jobs with such buffs have a persistent animation to indicate that the buff is active we would like for SMN to have the same as currently Dreadwyrm Trance is incredibly unimpressive and it would actually be useful for other jobs to be able to recognise when we have it active. Since the trance is a cue for us being about to use Deathflare it would be useful for other jobs with party buffs to be able to see the trance and use their buffs in preparation for it.

    It would also be useful in PvP for players to recognise when a SMN is about to unleash the biggest burst combo in the game.

    Yes, MCH needs a lot more attention but let's not start dismissing everyone just because you feel you're more important.

    Good News kinda for the machinist weapon IF its dyeable the toolbox also matches the colour... so there's that. Also PLEASE give a better animation for the gauss barrel casting animation ;n; Its so stupid! 'Hurr dur i is master markshman i point gun in air to aim.'

    definitely a yes for some sort of animation for dreadwyrm trance. I mean, you're channeling Bahamut afterall, you better damn well have the animation to back it up.
