R1 changes targets, and I don't want it to. Help!

Pretty much title.
I use a dualshock 3 controller. Now with more actions I have to change hotbars a lot more often, and it constantly changes targets. This happened in 2.x too but wasn't as big of a deal. It doesn't happen all the time, but when I press R1 + (button combo) to change hotbars, sometimes it changes my target too. So when I'm trying to fly thru crap and it changes my target, it slows me down. Any way to fix this? I just don't want it to change my target anymore. Everything else can stay the same.

Hmm, idk then. Considering you said it doesn't happen all the time the only reasons I can think of are 1. a faulty controller or 2. player error somehow. Have you tried using the L2+R2 hold combos to access additional bars and reduce your need to switch? More of a work around then a solution but thats all i got xD.

Hm. After being stupid and stuff..
I tried just holding L2 while pressing R1 to change hotbars, and it does change targets. So that's the problem, I guess I was fat fingering the L2 or R2. #problemsolved
