so yeah are you going to use the upgraded job, or are you going to use the gimp job. Now they could not make jobs an upgrade and make a fully dpsed up lancer = to a drg, but then it wouldnt be better in parties.

Point is, they are for most intents and purposes going to replace the classes.
I see your point that they could be better, but where we are in the game right now, during a raid everyone equips raise and cure. (because it can be extremely useful) When using jobs, we assume you wont be able to.
