Well I'm pretty sure that you can unlock your job pre 50, so you should be able to level your job beside your class, I think what they mean is what ever rank your class is the job will be. Also I dont think that a job is going to drastically change the play style of any class so much that you have to completely relearn how to play. I mean I knew how to play him but I really truly learned the ins and outs on NMs and the dungeon since ranking up is a very basic process when it comes to battle.
Ya i agree with you but it's does not change much then what the point? why do all the work of making jobs? when just renaming the class and giving them AF would have been less work?

in ffxi you learn in partying but iguess things have change lol i just don't see people doing jobs if class are better in dungeon not if they lock you out of class and only can enter in as a job then that would make more sense or maybe that what they thinking of doing.
