that AF armor looks great. Can't wait to see it in game. Although.. I was really hoping for musketeer.. oh well. I mean..they have a guild already right?? Regardless, the designs look awesome.

They actually said that they are going to deliver musketeer and arcanist classes when jobs are implemented, Yoshi-p said the role of arcanist to be something like a mage setting traps, that info is in the interview with famitsu, check Reinhart post.

The archer-bard thing reminds me of corsair, I guess maybe a ranged support job but with a bow and harp perhaps. But the picture could be misleading as well.

Im so glad I fell in love with dragoon on xi and have reborn into Eorzea as lancer. All those years were worth it now as I gaze upon the epic XIV combination of spikey gear and elegant pose. Makes me want to make once character of every race and rank up lancer to 50 on each one so I can have a personal dragoon army on my account. sorry it just doesn't make sence. i'd sooner assume that it's some sort of crossbow attachment. But we won't really know until we get to play with it.

I'd also like to point out that the WHM and BLM are not holding their weapons while they cast. Could that just be artistic liscence or are we going back to the good old days of not having to be engaged to cast?

I can see it being a crossbow attatchment and I really like the idea ^^ especially if it's used as a weapon skill!

It is said that Paladin, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, Dragoon and Bard will show up (we still don't know if this will be the "first" jobs)

So .. when you see the picture, you can see a Paladin, a Monk, a Dragoon, a White Mage, a Black mage (and what seems to be a kind of warrior).

What is missing? The Bard!!! And who looks like carring an HARPE-BOW ? XD

Anyway, that's still just assuming that those jobs are the ones that are gonna be released first. If it is, it's 99.9% sure your gonna have an ARCBARD ^^ (the 0.01% left cause they could do something relly crazy like putting WHM on LNC, BLM on ARC etc XD)

What we have to remember is that some abilities will be able to be cross class, but it will be limited. Also abilities will be moved around.

what we can assume: gla-pld, pug-mnk
good guesses: con-whm, thm-blm (if its switched, whoopdee, I don't care)

the last three are somewhat different.

To me the galka seems to be holding an axe and has horned visor, with fur on its gear. This is extremely reminiscent of bst. This could open solo play or a new party tactic. it could be war/bst/berserker/viking. but from previous brushes, bst seems likely

The one in the Kain drg pose screams DRG. The AF looks a little dark and the lnc seems to have a curved blade on the bottom (looking like a scythe) This job may get a more unique flavor to drg than we're used to

The archer with the harp bow. this pretty much confirms brd on archer. it looks like that harp could be used, as the top half could be folded downward. On top of that all the weapons just may be for show and the brd may not even rely on harp being attached to a bow. I don't really have a problem here. You can stay ARC for DD or a new role opens up with the job. its been done since Ragnarok. and maybe before.
