    The vertical rods are too short to be arrows. The draw pull must be horrible, if that were to be the case...

    Yeah, I thought the same thing about the size of the rods. Then I looked at the WHM's legs and realized perspective is not perfect in this picture.

    I could make an argument in the same vein that the rods are way to thick to be "strings" for any kind of stringed instrument, as they're just as thick as the arrow.

    If you look at the arrow you can see that is nocked crooked. I don't think it's possible to shoot an arrow like that...
