Ever played any other MMO? Bards use bows, that's as basic Minstrel-style weapon as there can be. Unless you shoot melodies out of your harp to deal damage, but that right there would be stupid.

Not to mention the fact that the Bard part of it is worked into the bow. Half-bow/Half-harp.
