Have you been in this situation?

Have you been in the situation you have your main character but then wish to make another one for x-porpouse?

Like lets say i wanted to make 4 chars; 1 meant to play tank jobs, other for front line jobs, then one for mage jobs, and one for ranged attack jobs, but then retract from do so cause it would imply re-do all quest and cause lack of job class uniquenes atm and also cause if you wana be strong you really need level all jobs in only 1 character so you get a good combo of abilities... But still I have that wish of play as other diferent character bugging me.

Then have found people that somehow manage to dual boxing characters , doing so even by implementin 3rd party tool software that is forbiden by SE but people still do so, so they can dual box their characters...

So i doubt i be the only gamer with this feeling if people still recurre into use third tool party sftware to be able to play with more than 1 character at once, i think Square Enix should do something at respect, and by sayin this i dont meant stronger their anti- third party tool usage but instead make it worth to have multiple characters in a single account, if they are planing to charge fees peer characters at least give us the chance of get the maximum benefit from have them.

At least i feel unfair there be people enjoyin their gaming time by dual boxing characters and me just being able to watch out them enjoyin it doing it the forbiden way and makin me wish to use third party tool software too to do so as well (wich i wont do, but damn that feels so tempted to).

I be speack with some other gamers in game about this and they seems to think same as me.

Maybe not dual boxing but allowin us to use at least one of our other characters in the account as some sort of NPC fellow (like the old action RPG as secret of Mana/Seiken Densetsu) to at least do quest at same time in both characters and such would be awesome. Tell me you dear reader wouldnt you enjoy if this option were available?, and about this beign unbalaced, i doubt it.... you're payin for your 2 chars, at least this way you get discouraged to use the third party tools SE forbiden us to use.

Multi-boxing in FFXIV legitimately is not very efficient (two computers, two monitors, two keyboards, two mice, two accounts).

I can't speak for using third party software tools. Don't use them myself.

I think it depends on the game. When there's enough to do for one player or the mechanics don't allow for it easily, it takes away joy trying to multi-box. Where in a game like Aion, some battle mechanics on quite monotonous and it gives way to using triple-boxing.

Well sadly i have seen ALOT of people Dual boxing, either by using 3rd party tools, or just havin 2 PC(or PC and Laptop) and 2 accounts or more.

To be honest the people i be meet dual boxin have only 2 accounts and multiple chars in betwen them, most them told me they useful to deal with the lack of Anima and/or to do more leves in betwen them peer reset.

EDIT: and well, yeah im talkin of FFXIV not about other MORPGS, and the main point i want to discuss here is not about 3rd party use, but about SE giving a better use to posses 2+ characters in 1 single account.
