When i hit windows key on my keyboard it puts ff 14 into windowd mode now

Before 3.0 when i hit my windows key it would minimize ff 14 and i could just see my desktop. Now though when i hit that key it puts 14 into windowed mode with only part of it visable. When i click on the window to drag it over so i can see it more it puts it back into full screen.

Now can't click on anything. One click turns sound off, next click turns sound back on again. I can still move my character with the keyboard and exit key brings up that menue, but can't click anything.

Have had the same issue come up as well since early accesses ,when I hit the windows Key to minimize Final Fantasy XIV puts Final Fantasy XIV in windows mode instead minimizing it. Though it was kind of unusual.

DX11 game viewport works differently than DX9. Like most games with DX11 if you are set to fullscreen in game. It will switch to windowed mode when you alt tab out of the game.

How do i drag ffxiv windowed over so i can see the whole screen? As soon as i click the window to drag it, it imediately goes back to full screen. On top of that in full screen, literally can't click on anything.

Everthing works fine untill i hit that windows key.

As an alterative you can try the old CTRL-ESC combination. He one that opened the Start Menu.

the same happens with that combo. its definitly a client issue. never happend before heavensward.
