How Does Your Astrologian Hotbar Look?

As the title says, I'm wondering what other astrologian's hotbar looks like. I play on PS4 with the cross hotbar, and at lvl 40, I find myself fearing how many more actions I will be gaining as I go farther with the leveling. Reason being, I have only used two sets with all my classes up to this point. Using only R1 to quickly switch through the two sets. And with all the new moves, it seems like I will be going into the 3rd set territory.

Set 1(Main Healing Set):


Set 2(Offensive/Minor Healing Set):


Now NORMALLY, my sprint and Limit Break are in the exact same spot, just on set 1(as it is for every job I have). However, I figured the cards needed a whole section to itself, and are more important and use more often then those two actions, which is why I changed them to set 2.

Now for the most part, the healing actions are in the same spot, Essential Dignity can be removed from set 2 if needed for more space, and I know more abilities will be coming later. I have a spot for the Nocturnal Sect, going to put it in the same spot as the other Sect, just on set 2. Aspected Helios will be put below that just as I did with Aspected Benefic on set 1. The 4th spot near the other card options is going to be for Shuffle.

Does this look good? Or should I think about changing it again?

Use the Extended hot bar option... Using R2+l2 and l2+r2 keeps from switching and messing up.

I actually have been using that option also. Mostly with my summoner/scholar for the pet actions and summons though. I just don't want to use up all of those spots either with one or two actions from other classes. I would really like it if they made it an option to use L1 to go backwards as well as the R1 to switch forward(to make easy switching between 3+ hotbars). Especially since I don't use L1 to auto-run anyways. So that button is basically useless to me as of right now. But, I have been told by friends that they would most likely never change that due to being able to hold R1 and choose a set to switch to.

I set it up similar to my whm hotbar.
Helios = medica
Aspected helios = medica 2
Aspected benific = regen
Benific = cure
Benefic 2= cure 2
Essential dignity = benediction
Lightspeed = PoM
Tht debuff cleanse ( frgt name )=
Esuna
Malefic 2 = stone 2
stella = stone 1
Combust 1 & 2= aero 1&2

XD i put them like that cuz it allows my 2.0 whm muscle memory to be of use as i won't have to have fingers derping up cuz i pressed malefic thinking it was cure 2.

Yeah me too. My WHM/AST and SCH setup all have the non-CD heals in the same places.

How i have both my WHM and SCH hotbars set up except I have a specific horizontal hotbar that is for major skills that I want to watch their cooldowns (E.G. Eye for an Eye, Virus, Aetherflow) hotkeyed to Q, E, R, and T. For AST I have those set to Draw, Spread, Royal Road, and Shuffle. Passive buffs like Stoneskin and Protect are set to CTRL + 0, -, and =. All healing skills are my 1-6 keys, dps skills are 7-= keys. CTRL 1-6 are usually stuff I need to get to fast. And I have to set up an ALT + 1-= just for all the new skills on all classes.

I'm still trying to set this up so it's comfortable for me.

Yeah me too. My WHM/AST and SCH setup all have the non-CD heals in the same places.

All my jobs are like this. MCH/BRD CDs in exact same spots. Control+ 1-4. Also holds healer nukes.

1-4, heal, heal, heal, dispel. Etc. Muscle memory is a thing.

I set up my hotkeys in a very specific manner between my healing jobs. The right half of it is empty, though, because I use my mouse for a lot of skills and don't really have anything else to fill the others up with...

All of my card skills are on my mouse buttons except Royal Road (that's on X). Cleric stance is on E (for quick access). Protect is Ctrl+V (because it doesn't need quick access). Stoneskin is the mouse button behind my wheel. Basically, whatever keys I can hit quickly have hotkeys...It's rather willy-nilly.

Basically all my main heals are on Q-T, so i can easily reach them, Regens/Barries would be 1-2 since they aren't spammed.
All my card skills are also on keys that i could easily reach them (Royal Road is not something i'm always using so its on a normal key, '3'
My damaging skills are on Alt+, i'm not a big fun of alt but i'm rarely using them at dungeons so its a good spot for them imo.
CDs just change from CTL+ to some other far keys that i find fit for them.

I'm struggling a bit with my hot bar (Playstation). I've always been Scholar and as such I kept 2 distinct hot bars. One healing and one DPS. However I don't like how it feels on Astrologian, purely because when I was on the DPS hot bar I knew there was a margin for me to switch back because Eos was healing. With AST I feel like I always need the healing hot bar up. So I'm sort of sticking everything I can on it at the moment haha!
