I enjoyed Heavensward until this point. Ex Primals party gated

We have always been able to queue for extreme primals without a full party of 8 assembled beforehand.
No soloq, no duo, no trio. Full 8 or gtfo is what it is at.

I just unlocked Bismark extreme and I am almost at full i170 gear and yet I cannot queue to join with others. Meaning if I ever want to farm Ravana tokens for i190 tome I need to wait an hour to somehow assemble other interested level 60 players, if even able to generate enough interest.

This is exceptionally disappointing. "But you will wipe", I severely doubt that because there exist coils and far other things that are more difficult. I watched the videos of the extreme fights and the bosses are not at all that difficult.

I am so frustrated right now, I cannot get my i190 book for my scholar and it's ... UGH.

Incorrect. The other EX Primals were gated for some time before they allowed you to solo queue for them.

Every EX Primal and coil turns in the past REQUIRED you to queue as a full party for some weeks/months before it went full DF where you can queue alone and get echo on wipes.

So there's nothing new, you were probably late before and when you caught up there was already echo/solo queue DF for the primals you beat back then.

Not when they're first released. The option becomes available a patch or two later.

Sorry to say but this statement is false. Whenever a new Extreme primal has been released, it always had a few weeks/months where you had to form an 8-man party. Later down the road they'll patch it so you don't need a party anymore.

Just adding what everyone else has already said - you were normally required to have a full party before you could join any EX part.

Oddly enough, this type of note was omitted from the 2.4 patch notes but if my memory serves me right that very same requirement was needed too.
