The question is a bit subjective. How does one measure, "Strength," exactly? Is it more akin to power? Is it destructive force? I don't think any one class can be the strongest from a lore perspective. I mean, quite a few are on the same level (all of the Discipline of Magic jobs are pretty OP since they all have had historical connections to causing Umbral Eras).

Personally i think we should use the in game lore or feats of each class not the game mechanics.

For example a monk with 14 chakras open is so powerful that 1 monk with 13 chakras with the help of another 2 monks bit less chakras opened is basically a curbstomp battle. And monk player grows so strong that he/she is able to overpower a 14 chakra monk with more years of experience + empowered with the power of 3 extra monks just after unlocking the 14 chakra aside of stopping ki balls powerful enough to kill those 3 monks at once with 1 hand easily. Aside saying that the 14 chakra mends wounds on the monk.

On the lv 50 monk quest a 7 chakra monk is basically stated to be power wise already beyond human levels.

That, a Monk with all 14 chakras open is by far exceeding human limits.
I've seen all job quests up to 50 and monk to 60 and must say they really make you feel ridiculously powerfuln with the 7th chakra in ARR and reaching godmode at lvl 60 with 14 chakras.
Your wounds heal at a insane rate and you start hitting like a wrecking ball.

The war of the magi came as a result of Allagan Summoners consuming Aether into their body and transforming into Primals. From that Summoners believed they were gods incarnate and tried to take over the Allagan empire which was the start of the war of the magi. The Allagan empire ordered those priacticing the Summoner Arts to be killed and afterwards only a few Summoners were left and the art died out. Lorewise the Summoner would pawn every job.

You are entirely misrepresenting that explanation. The Summoners weren't even around for the War of the Magi. The War of the Magi was fought between the nations of Mhach, Amdapor, and Nym and their militaries which consisted of Scholars, White Mages, and Black Mages, respectively. What Y'mhitra explains is that there were evil Summoners who misused their power and used it to rule over other people instead of to put down primals and defend the realm. This led to a collective bias against Summoners, even the good ones, as everyone came to assume if one could summon, they were going to use it to rule others. Then came the summoner hunts (which sound like witch hunts and probably were much the same). That's what Y'mhitra tells you.

Correct if I'm wrong. I'm new to the lore forum so I keep making some mistakes, but the Allagan empire fell one or two umbral eras before the War of the Magi. Like Wyrah said, you just mixed up the two thing.

Bias aside, Dragoons are specialized to kill dragons only. Their spiky armor is meant to dig deep through the scales of a dragon, so when a Dragoon dives on top of a Dragon's back, they aren't just shrugged off with a single barrel roll. At any rate, they're mainly specialized against one type of foe only and spend the majority of their training against killing dragons. Even in the Lv52 quest, one high ranking DRG is astounded at how you fight because the way the WoL fights as a DRG is different from other DRGs (probably a subtle reference at our Lancer skills which are Gridanian in nature, not Ishgardian, and possibly our Marauder and Pugilist skills which are needed to unlock DRG). tl;dr DRG are extremely powerful, but only against Dragons which they spend their lives training for, and not really any other type of creature.

This is only partically true, since these things only matter if you're opponent is in or close to the same tier your're in. For example, Tony Stark's Hulk Busters are specifically designed to last against the Hulk(for a while anyway),so hes at a disadvantage in it against someone like Ms. Marvel, who would just fly circles around him and react way faster than he can in it. But she's in or close to the same tier he's in. Tony Stark in Hulk Buster should have no problems taking out Street level opponents like Captain America, Daredevil, or even Spiderman, who won't make a dent on him.

Was this mentioned in the job quests? I must've missed it

Its in the lvl 54 Summoner where Y'mhtira explains why summoning is a lost art.
