I think they have the right to be angry about thiwr sister's murder after all Tiamat was upset about Bahamut's murder by the Allag. But Hraey is way to passive agressive. He's like " Waaa, my sister died but I'm to heartbroken about my Dead Ex-Girlfriend to help my brother avenge her even though I think he's right. T_T"

He's a Celeatial F-ing Dragon! Either stop Nidhog or help him dont just sit there and cry about it like a emo Black Mage.

Tiamat told Middy that she COULD leave if she wanted too but decided not to as punishment for perverting Bahamut's memory by making a primal in his immage. But all Hraey does is whine.

No matter how insain he is atleast Nidhog is actually doing something.

Really? Going insane over anger and making everyone else actively dealing with your emotions is much worse than Hraes who isolates himself.

He doesn't actually whine. That implies you got issues and you want someone else to fix it for you.
    He clearly doesn't give a f*** anymore.

With good reason too, it's not just that his GF died.
It's that she made him eat her for mortals and dragons to live in peace.
Only for that to fall apart, for him to lose his sister and then for his brother to go insane.
And him giving Nidhogg his eye was his own punishment, like Tiamat.

So yea, Shiva's death was in vain and only lead to Ratatoskr's death.
Nidhogg might as well be dead to him too.

It only really sounds like whining, because all we talk to him about is past tragedies.
But I got the strong impression he didn't care if the mortals all died off or if his brother died (the latter is more obvious).
So he said screw that drama a long time ago. That's what it means to be a neutral party.

Though he was pivotal in what lead to the war, and it would've been nice if he kind of redeemed himself.
But both sides were wrong in this, and he was too involved. Supporting either one would've been wrong, and would probably just cause more blood.
It was much better that it came from an outside party and from a change within Ishgard (Aymeric and Estinien).

Even if you do believe he's just whining, him keeping to himself is still better than Nidhogg who forces everyone to deal with his personal anger issues.
Unlike the emo stereotype, Hraes obviously doesn't want attention.
Nidhogg literally made his sorrow into a genocidal song so that everyone could feel his pain.
    Really? GTFO.

It just kinda pissed me off that Hraes' role was "i'll give you some exposition and lore bombs then F*** it, I'm outta here."

I wanted him to do..... something at least. Though I did like him riding Ice Heart in for that Hellmerry assist in Azys La. That at least gives me hope that he's not a total ass when it comes to the war.

I don't really disagree, it would've been nice if he was there to help when we tried to kill Nidhogg.
Though I don't know if that would've been appropriate for him, I would've liked some more active redemption as well.

I think it's likely he might come into action more now that mortals and dragons have some resemblance of a treaty.
Him helping Iceheart was a great start, and I think it was done because it was a different conflict to the one he doesn't want a part of.

With Nidhogg (himself or some shade of him) back, he might have a second chance to redeem himself though.
One that would be much more appropriate than before where he'd have had to, more seemingly, pick a side.

I'd like to see him try again for that vision of peace he tried for before.
With Midgardsormr around advocating that peace, I think there's a good chance of that, so I won't count him out yet.

I'm not either. Since we haven't even found the other 4 Scions yet we know this story is no where near over. Heck we got a hitchcock style to be continued after we defeated Thorden and the Knights of the Round. So I say between Nidhogg's return via Body snatching and Midgardsormr actually siding with us we may be able to talk Hraesvelger into stopping his brother's mad crusade once and for all. Because at this point Nidhogg is Objectively in the wrong. The mortal races (Specifically Ishguard) want's peace bad enough to beg repentance. The Dragons them selves have grown weary of the battle as well.(With the exception of Nidhogg's brood who are brain washed by his endless madness to the point of being just as insane.) And now with no one wanting to fight, Nidhogg going "This shit ain't over by a long shot!!!" then he is the instigator interfering with peace. I think THAT will be what makes Hraesvelger come to our side.

And I'd personally like us managing to convince Tiamat to let us free her too. The cruelty of her prison is far greater than any crime she committed. (Not to mention having two celestial dragons and Midgardsormr himself on our side would make The Emperor piss him self)
