Point of temple levequests

So I decided to try out a temple levequest. I chose a quest that required me to turn in 3 earrings of healing, and gave roughly 200k exp. Then I saw that there is a regular leve that required me to turn in 1 earring of healing, and gave 100k exp. If I took the 3 earrings I crafted for the temple leve, I would get 300k exp out of it.

So I'm basically paying 10 leves, and have to turn in an extra item to receive the same exp I would receive from paying 2 leves? What the hell is this? Did I miss anything special?

It's specifically for people with limited play time who only plan to do few leves per week.

Look, if you have time to craft 3 earrings for the temple levequest, you could as well just accept the normal levequest 3 times and turn 3 earrings in. This would cost you what, not even 1 minute of your "limited play time"?

Or let's put it more bluntly: if I crafted two earrings, I would have saved time (and materials!) because I didn't have to craft the 3rd one. I can accept the normal levequest twice and turn in the earring twice, thus saving myself a lot of gil and probably time compared to the temple levequest... and the exp gained would be the same.

You can get amber from the battle leve, which they let you turn in for acc. I see no point in doing them for a crafter unless you have a ton and wont use them before getting more.

I know about the amber from the battle leve, but the crafter leve gives no special reward at all. And it's more inefficient in every single regard, including time invested, than the normal leves. SE really screwed this up.

I have yet to do one with all the bad hype surrounding it but it seems like the best course of action here would be to decrease the amount of leves the temple ones cost. They cant really increase the exp more because 300k is a lot and people would be blowing through craft leveling. maybe 4-5?

You get 200k only. A normal craft leve gives 100k.

ambers also come from normal leves, just 1 at a time though, while temple can give more. still no real point in doing them. also ambers only give nq accessories up to 58. while not a bad thing in general, you get accs just by doing dungeons anyway. especially on secondary classes when leves are actually "attractive"

I guess it's just a test and we might see some other rewards in the future

I am using Leves for my crafting/gathering classes, not for my combat classes. Low Level DR, and spamming dungeons is how my combat classes are going to level.
