    No its just the sad truth of things my FC isn't cutting edge so i don't care what my members play but that's how people are going to look at it

    Compare PLD to DRK Paladin is a Better MT
    Compare Warrior to DRK warrior is a higher dps OT
    Asto sure they have cards but thats not a consistent thing WHM and SCH are just overall better
    compare BRD and MCN Brd wins machinist has issues that need fixed.
    yes things could change but what we know right now that where it sits

    Won't matter to Non Speed clearing FC's

    I agree with you, at the moment DRK and AST arent really good choices for 8 man content.
    They both seem to approach their roll with a Jack of all master of none apporach.

    DRK tries to sit between PLDs High mitigation style and WARs more like a very sturdy DPS style which is good when it is the only tank but in an MT and OT situation it is worse than the other two jobs at their better roll.
    AST likes to try to replace either one of the other two healers with its stances but it cant do either of their rolls as well as the original job can. It doesnt have the sheer brute force healing WHM is capable of nor the versatility of SCH. So AST is useful again in a 4 man situation where it can show off its ability to do both jobs (i.e my friend will heal shield b4 a pull then go WHM stance for HOTs during the fight) and in 8 man content through the DF where it can fill in for the roll of the missing job but in preformed parties and static raids it cant stand up to the other two.

    If I apply my dots, if I'm using mp properly and the right skills/stance depending on whether I'm fighting one or multiple opponents, I feel that if anything it's a very versatile class.

    And you have him set at 30, so I can't take your opinion seriously considering you haven't experimented with DRK buffs, debuffs etc.
    I could go and give my experience and compare PLD to DRK, but it's all subjective opinions.

    On a completely unrelated note, I've been getting double the amount of commendations I used to get as a PLD, so if anything I'll take that as positive feedback that I'm performing a better job.
