    The Hunt 3.0

    While i love everything about Heavensward and thought there was nothing i hated, i then hit gear farming...why oh why was The Hunt made needed to upgrade Law gear, it is socially poisonous, and one of the worst things that was ever put into this game, i swear the community was much better hen it didn't exist. Ninja pullers , people complaining they don't make it in time, those self-same people after making it in time then telling others "You had plenty of time" , troll hunt locations.

    The amount of hate and venom that spits out of players doing the hunt is terrible, while i do not mind doing the hunt, and i now accept that if i miss one it's not the end of the world, it can be a little off-putting at least.

    What do you guys think of this?

    100% Agreed. It's toxic to the entire community. All I see is hunt spam or people complaining about hunts, and even more self-righteous people complaniing about people complaining about hunts.

    Honestly I've loved Heavensward and at this point I don't even want to play the game anymore.

    On Gilgamesh it's almost impossible.

    I like to think of myself as a calm rational person but it's hard to get trolled for hours and keep a level head.

    I was discussing this with some friends earlier. One brought up the idea that as soon as someone comes within a certain amount of yalms of a hunt that a mark be placed on that particular hunt to make it invulnerable until about three to five minutes later to wait for everyone that wants to kill it to come in time. While people might complain, the spawn time in between all of the hunts are quite long and a few minutes of waiting should hardly matter.

    Or make them harder to kill. It's pathetic how fast they drop right now. I expected more out of 3.0 hunt monsters myself.

    it also baffles me that they didn't learn from hunts in 2.0. Its a joke how long and hard fates are(they are not HARD, don't get me wrong but if you are near one, its not worth doing it since everythign is kinda buffed and takes way too long to kill) with that many people in areas they go down in 5 secs. Why not just buff them a lot, like fates. So if a certain amount of people is close the hp and def rises - or - if the hp goes down fast, the def. rises a lot making it a loooot longer to kill.

    And on the other hand... just give us more options to earn hunt marks. Maybe also as a combo in dungeons. That would also give incentive to do them besides helping friends and - later on- tomes.

    they did a lot of things right in heavensward, but the core problems are untouched. that is really disappointing.
    - hunts are basicly a joke right now
    - dungeon-qs for dps still are same bad
    - let's hope that endgame will get more positive changes ...

    you can always do 2.0 Rank S's they give both kinds of seals and both kinds of tomes. (at least from what i hear)

    A's might even give some (not sure) but if they do then you should be able to hunt a bit without having to worry about the toxic zerg.

    Lol. 2.0 hunts still give lawtomes and centurio seals. - And it's even more of a problem. I usually don't even bother to show up to 2.0 hunts unless im already in the zone when its called because these things die laughably easy to a horde of 60s.

    xD well they were slaughtered in seconds at lvl 50 i wouldn't think 60 would be different.

    i just bring it up because each new area has 2 A's added with the amount of A ranks we alreadty have and with them taking around 3 hours to respawn (i believe don't actually remember) a hunt should always be up.

    course i have no proof and as you said every hunt could be found and killed to fast for it to actually happen (still lvling and not worrying about hunts)

    also we do get daily hunt bills and pretty sure we get a weekly. also we can only build a max of 500 (instead of 2k of the older ones)

    leveling AST yesterday when we all started lagging and some red icon popped.....then chat exploded ....was amusing how things changed
    from LFG !!! to WAIT PLEASE!!! to T_T / Rage calling names ...in less than 1 min , is 2.3 all over again

    please take my post lightly.

    i merely said a bit of hunting i say this because before 3.0 with a decent size of players zerging (not 2.3 lvl so i know this is different as it's only 2 days into launch and 6 days into how long people have been able to start lvling) but at most after all the hunts were killed (A ranks and maybe a S) there was alittle under an hour 50-60 minutes till the next respawn.

    the addition of what 10 rank A's? not sure how many and idk how many rank S's there is many more opportunities to get seals, and the chance of having more than one up at the same time and avoiding the zerg is better.

    the way i see it is people can gear up a bit faster making the zerg die down faster.

    it actually has to do with B's are now meant to be solo'd (so they have pretty low hp)

    A's are for 2-3 groups so it's based around by that much

    S's are based around a bit more then those other two so they have a bit more.


    none of it are built around a group of 100 plus players. if they did then when hunts did die down small groups would have a hard time trying to fight the bosses.
