    181

I need to finish 181 quests before I can start my Heavensward stuff. Particularly, Dark Knight. Was insanely stoked about Dark Knight because I read there was not going to be any prereq class levels for it. I figured with 30, I'd be able to get it. So now I need to plow through 181 quests before I can even touch it. And I hate to admit it, I don't have the slightest clue as to what's going on the story since I've been skipping every cutscene. Wish there was a way around this because I've never been stupid crazy fond of the classes already built in to the game (I have a nasty habit of flopping between classes.) That said, I've hit the point where my levels are going up as fast as I am doing the quests. So far I've been supplementing them with leves and hunting logs but I'm afraid that before too long, that won't be enough. Suggestions to help me through it?

stick to the Main Story Quests, ignore the side quests, and spam dungeons.

Should I favor leves to dungeons or save them for later. I cant remember the last time I used all 100 but I don't know how effective they are at later levels.

the same happened with me i got my DRK and ditched my paladin forever after sixbillion lvl50 MSQ where in 80% i was an utterboring errandboy.........

also Kytori get ready that at lvl50 there is like a 3-4 days worth of nonstop Main story quests where your forced to do like 10+ Trials with more then half of them Hard mode and a few Dungeons.

if your a DPS it will take forever....

I'm ninja 32. Lancer 25 but I don't think drg are meant to be tanks if memory serves.... I'm assuming DPS is because of queue wait times?

Yes, if you really want to be DRK, I'd recommend leveling both paladin and warrior, mainly because DRK's cross class skills come from those jobs. You'll also have shorter queue times, and gain an understanding on tanking.

Unfortunately, the classes for those too are pretty low. I don't think I've leveled Glad at all yet. Maurader is 15 for dragoon buuut meeeh. My goal was to power through with my highest level just to GET it then go from there.

I can empathize with this, I had the same plan for summoner, shot right to 30 and then realized I had to go back and level thm and cnj. I discovered the game was much smoother if you take the time to level the support classes. The story isn't going anywhere, people will always be clearing content. I know you want to rush to the endgame, but taking time teds to make things better.

So here's the thing. One of the major reasons I loved puppets in 11 was that once you got your puppet, you were far from done. You had a basic puppet that was fun and useful, but if you wanted the best puppet, you were going to have to shell out a lot of money or work really hard for the pieces. This was an amazing concept. You work a little for the class you want and then you work your balls off to master it. That's sort of what I was going for here. Get my DRK early and enjoy it while I level up my other stuff.
