Why in the world would you put Goad and Invigorate on a macro together? They do two completely different things, and it would eliminate your ability to use them appropriately. The amount of active skills to put on hotbar feels pretty average (or less) to me.
A few quality of life macros helps a long way to cut down on the buttons xd
Goat/Invigorate in one button.
Sneak/Trick attack with Death Blossom AOE (since sneak/trick is disabled unless in hidden status).
Stuff like that.
Because they're both TP skills and activate specifically?
If you need TP, press it and you get 400TP from Invigorate. Goad won't activate because you need to have another party member targeted.
If a party member needs TP, targeting them and using the macro will activate Goad (first in priority on macro) - just don't double press it.
Usually if party is AOE-spamming, you end up pressing both after anyways so it's a nice way to save crossbar space.
(KB users may prefer otherwise? I'm PS4)

Too much of a liability in my opinion. I mean most players are fairly spammy with their buttons in the first place, but you also have the fact that latency does some weird things to button presses and ability activation in this game. I wouldn't pair anything with Invigorate to reduce chances of accidental usage since it's such an important ability. However, if that works for you then carry on.
I have been playing games like Neverwinter, Secret World, ESO and GW2 for the last few years, so I am not used to a lot of buttons if you are familiar with those games. What would be a good class/job for me. I do tend to play melee classes though there are exceptions like Secret World and I love my Warlock in Neverwinter.
I don't use macros at all unless its for a call out. As a melee dps I find that macroing abilities either leads to a headache, inefficiency, or a dps loss.
Yeah, in 2.0, bard was the easiest because they had almost no dps downtime due to mechanics. Wanderer's minuet changes that though.
Completely agree with this. Macros for unimportant things work alright, but for actual combat they typically don't pan out too well. I wish they'd revise the macro system so that it functions more smoothly.
Check out the changes to the setup that I'm using. I find the flow very natural. I don't even change to set2 unless I'm AOEing or need to heal.DRG is a bit of a pain now imo. we had a pretty decent rotation going in 2.0. Now it is just confusing at times especially with all the mechanics going on. Yesterday finally hit 60 and was spending most of the time staring at my toolbars and swearing about loosing botd. but i guess need to get used to it. Also how to bind 33 skills that i use on every day basis on drg o_O I think it is not even possible to play it on PS4 without dropping "less important" stuff or using some crazy macros. Dunno how PS4 ppl manage.
