need some advice please

so havent really fully maxed any of my gathering gear yet due to low funds + no luck over melding soo...

would it be better nows to eithier

1. just buy 60 npc gear n work on gettin collectibles for scribs that way
2. waitin and buying older BiS gathering gear since price would probably drop considerably nows?

any advice is much appreciated :3

Don't forget there will be better gear when red scrips come out in a few weeks.

My plan is to upgrade to the lvl 54 accessories as soon as I have my lth high enough to meld. Going to keep using foragers hq max meld on all gathering as well as lucis until I can get the script items. Also heard about an upgrade to off hand but haven't really looked into that as fishing is the only gathering I have over 52 atm.

fishing is the 1 i want to work on the most atm due to all the big fish etc.. so hoping you can get blue scrip with basic gear in HW and then use blue scrip set to get red scrip stuff ;/

Yes having the blue scrip stuff will be a big help towards red scrip stuff. I wouldn't invest in BiS materia until we know more about the red scrip gear.

The blue scrips atleast. From there we can get the red scrip stuff, but what it will need for materia, if any, we won't know we have more info on the red scrip gear and if there are more materials to be found.
