So what is your favorite Primal fight in 3.0 so far?

The Knights of the Round.

I seriously was not expecting this Primal fight but it was awesome but certainly would be a nightmare if given a Extreme mode.

I kinda lulled at the end of the fight. I was literally trying to tank. but I just gave up and did:

It was so silly. But the fight and music itself was glorious.

Not to mention the amount of animation put into that fight was by far the most detailed. Glorious is one way to describe the experience but painful with it basically being a Bullet Hell fight.

It was enjoyable, partly because the whole experience reminded me of "The Cradle/Orphan's Cradle" from FF13. There's just so much resemblance even the area (the final journey to find Thordan in FFXIV feels the similar in fighting through the mobs in the Cradle to reach Barthandelus).

And I luled at the end because I knew it since 2.0... That damn pope is gonna pull a Barthandelus shit lol.

Seem like the basic God-complex antagonist to me since it tends to happen with characters that get a taste of what they consider Godhood. They get a taste of God like powers and next thing you know they start trying to become a God and rule the world in their own paradise they envisioned themselves. Of course their taste for power always seems to blind them from the truth that they are no savior nor god.

Loved the fact that this trial was basically one big FFVII shout-out. xD

Also loved all the random mechanics from previous content. ;3

From all, the Singularity Reactor is the only one I am looking forward to with anticpation in Extreme mode.

It only dawned on me that it was Knights of the Round from FF7 when the 12 knights (untransformed) lined up to the side of the King. Yeah I'm slow.

Then I counted them and went holy(%*&$(*&@# am I fighting the Knights of the Round!? They transformed and then I went bonkers.

BRING IT ON! My favorite primal in the entire game so far, loled at that lame flailing at the end.

Lmao, right? That never fails to make me crack up. xD

I've only barely started the plot, however given the intro history of ishgard. I was thinking FF7' Knights of the Round was going to be referenced somewhere. At least its not a ~meh.. weapon skill like the one in FFXI. By the looks and sounds of some things there might be more 7 reference in 3.0.
