And I've yet to see that in this game, other than explanatory text with references from other movies and junk. For game examples(AGAIN) with kids dying in rated T to E games: Kingdom Hearts, Sora dies but comes back with love power, Final Fantasy 9 and Tactics, you play as a child and you can die, Brave Fencer Musashi - you can die as a young kid hero, Disgaea series - child demons everywhere- they look like kids and they can indeed die.

I'm not watching that as I'm not too far in MGSV and do NOT want to view spoilers and once again, Metal Gear Solid V is rated R18+. If we did not have that rating, then it would either be banned, or released over here with a MA15+ rating, which would have content censored or outright removed (look up Left 4 Dead 2. We couldn't even have zombies on fire).

If one country says no to playable children (PvP could be seen as "harm children to earn points" or some silly nonsense like that), then that means everyone will not get playable children.

Aye, January 2013 is when it finally became a thing. Games like The Last of Us probably would have been banned or heavily censored if we didn't have the rating.

Guess we're not getting KH3 (Sora's still 15-16), Tales of Zestaria, main character is 17 and his female friend is clearly younger than that, and...hmm... Disgaea 5 came out after 2013 and even though it has child demons it came out anyway with a T-rating

(Even with Sexual suggestive scenes, pole dancing, the word s***, and plenty more stuff), hmm, also the previous Dragon Ball games where you get to play as kids (a few anyway, about 6...How old is Chiaotzu I wonder, 8? And did he not SELF-DESTRUCT!?) All those games with a T-rating.

Ok nvm, I see the patches on L4D2 in Australia. Had no idea it was like that, like wow. Still don't see it as much of a problem for a young kid race in XIV since we have no graphics like that other than worded debuffs. :/

Actually you know what, I'm going to take a look at the Australian game censored list (If there is one) since theres so many games not out in Australia because of Child characters (I guess?). So sorry if I'm being ignorant to this info that was hidden across different regions. I'm in the US btw.

I doubt it, it seems like they've just bumped up some games that would have normally fit into the MA15 rating before R18 was introduced. Even then they don't trust their consumers enough to allow for games like Hotline Miami 2 to be available, R18 or not.

Are you really comparing the likes of Kingdom Hearts to the level of violence in The Last of Us?... I don't get the point of your reply. Both feature children, but the contents of the games are very different.

Kurogaea... you can already play as a teenager looking character in this game (if the race can be short, or have a young face). When I say playable children, I mean characters who are quite clearly between the ages of 5-12 (such as the Miqo'te girl that this entire thread was created for).

I think it would have been banned outright just because of certain parts in the game... particularly during the winter season of the game. Those death scenes were... I was not prepared for them at all (plus the implied... urgh, that guy was just creepy and horrible and gurgh).

My character can't look any younger than 19 at best (why that number idk). Well yeah I suppose being the age of 5-12 would be ridicoulous, but heres a question, how old is that miqote "child" exactly? I've seen older looking characters in games and they happen to be the age of 14 and 16. Even in some SE games like Nier Gestalt/Replicant where depending on the versions, your character's relative, Yonah (Nier Gestalt has you as the father of Yonah and in Nier Replicant your her brother), at the end of the game in the Replicant version she's 12 and in the Gestalt version she's 15, but both look quite older than that, could've been the dress maybe or a case of "Lightning jaw" or something, I dunno. not a spoiler:

Let's no mention the Lore problems here ( i mean, my god send childs to fights Primals? thats insane... at least you use that in the history as a public concern).

But in the current state of the game its a bad idea, i mean people are unsub because of the content and you want them to waste time in this?.

I love Child pjs in games i mean in tera all my characters are elins, but that only can work as Lolis-like no Childs, for that you need a brand new Race... or you know... Lalafells.
