People don't realize that children being IN games isn't a problem. It's making them playable that is. You can't dress Rydia or Alphie up in slutty clothes and start roleplaying them as sex workers. Something that WOULD happen if children became playable.

Seriously, if you think of a child in video game and your mind immediately goes to that... *THAT* is the issue here. They are also not children, they are not even human. Who cares?

FYI, I didn't accuse the OP or anyone in this thread of intending to abuse the idea of playable children in this way. But it WOULD happen, and that's a good enough reason to not even allow the possibility.


EDIT: By the way, accusing someone who exposes a problem of committing that same action is disgusting, despicable, and repulsive, not to mention irrational and moronic.

That would be like accusing someone who wants to ban/strictly control guns because they are used in murders of being a murderer themselves.

Stating what some people WOULD do in this day and age isn't cause to "seek help". Maybe no one in this thread would, but some people, somewhere, would start doing things along those disgusting lines. Ignoring the elephant in the room doesn't make it go away, in a matter of speaking. Sure the OP (hopefully) was just innocently thinking it was adorable and nothing more, but then there is the.... questionable side of the world....
