"dont own guns, they kill people!"
"dont put kids in the game, there are pedos out there!"
You probably shouldn't start trying to patronize with the whole gun argument. With all the gun violence happening in America at the moment and the rest of the world laughing at 'murica because the rest of the world has proven anti-gun/high control policies actually work.

Yes, they work to cause even more crime. As proven, guns actually lower crime.

Anyways, OP is right. Why can't we play children? It makes no sense to me. Why can't we play half races either?

Uhhhhh, this is getting pretty off-topic, but no, guns don't actually lower crime. In fact, the USA has THE highest per-capita prison population on the entire planet, which alone disproves the theory that more guns = less crime.

But guns actually embolden people to do dumb things. Being able to play as cute child-like creatures? Not so much. The analogy fails from its premise.

That is the biggest mountain, nay, galaxy of BS I have ever seen spewed from someone's mouth (or in this case, fingers).

Suffice it to say, you could not possible be more wrong. Do you want me to name the countries with strict gun control laws that have a lower crime rate than America? All of them.

yes control policies do work to a degree, and i wasnt trying to bring the gun debate in. i was making a connection with the way some people go overboard on things when feelings come into play.
ironicly, some of the places that have stricter regulations in regards to guns have a higher kill rate of non gun related violence, including knives, trains, buildings, cars, and anything else they can use. someone who aims to do something will do it, regardless of rules or policies put in place to prevent it from happening.
as for my comment that you quoted, i was trying to prevent that person from using what you said against you because what he said wasnt what you were getting at. you are for a proactive prevention instead of reactive.
besides the " 'murica" part, this has been one of the more entertaining "debates"(using this word loosely from how some of the other comments have been) in a good while because neither side is truely wrong.
