seems fine to me, some variety is nice. Love quests that require you to actually search/seek out answers for yourself (provided it's actually fair of course.)
They know their cuteness will earn them all the favors they ask for...crafty moogles.
My biggest complaint is that I wasn't able to join the Mogsguard.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

I hate moogles with a passion now. Not purely because of these repeated fetch quests, but the fact that they, the moogles, are so freaking lazy. Sadly, it hasn't gotten any better after I progressed.
Agreed, they can only fight when their king is under attack like in the trial, but can't defend themselves xD
