Never traveled to the southern part of Thanalan.
I set out looking for the cliffs in the trailers, and I think this is the area.

1.) loved it, thought it was a very thought out area. Could be more
diverse but compared to the rest of Thanalan, big difference.
Was kind of expecting a small river at the bottom, but to no avail.

2.) has little ala mihgo always been there? Like I said have never been down
in that area. The aggro mobs kept me away. I believe i remember the story
making reference to it since the little girl in the main story of uldah is there.

Now we just need a ramp all the way to the bottom.

There are a lot of nice places around Eorzea. Sadfully a lot of them are hard to get to, due to aggro mobs (specially difficult that all mobs have a ranged attack). Choco's get aggro so that doesnt help. At least the mobs do not follow forever, but some of these mobs are in the high 60,70 and even 80's.
But once the rank/level cap raises, it will be easier to get to these places.

I would prefer there be a river in the bottom of all that.
It would just match the lush look.
Especially since the cave at the back of the area has a little water cave type thing in it.

Little Ala Migho has always been there, it just wasn't marked. It IS labeled in the Eorzean language though.

I agree. It would also be nice if these few scenery variarions led to somewhere. It's odd that the most common routes are the ones that they copy pasted the most.

the main areas are the most bland.
the places far off the beaten path are the best made

I was thinking that when I was running down there.
I was like jeesh, just a few more days and this will not feel like
a trek of all treks lol
