Just wanted to add that many side quests in an area can be delayed (and made much easier!) if you just focus on flight first. Priority should always be: Main story quests until you finish the big fight at the end of each zone (like a dungeon or primal) and get the current unlock reward from that, quests and exploration to unlock flight, all the other side quests. Otherwise you spend a heck of a lot of time just trying to figure out how to get somewhere or running for 5 minutes to get around big rocks you could easily fly over.

Also, I strongly recommend doing the "I Believe I Can Fly" quest as soon as it becomes available. With tougher enemies in these new zones, your chocobo is very useful in combat, but if you have to dismiss it after every 3-5 fights to fly to the next area that becomes a pain in the rear. That quest allows you to fly on all chocobos, not just the black one, meaning your buddy can remain summoned through transit.

Good luck everyone and have fun!
