Grit, Shield Oath & Sword Oath Global Cooldown + Action Breaking

The fact that these abilities are still on the GCD and break your combo is ridiculous. It is a clunky terrible mechanic which you have more than happily not made a problem for the Warrior class so my question really has to be why the Dark Knight and the Paladin.

Shield Oath and Grit take effect instantly. When you activate them you instantly start taking 20% less damage. When WAR activates Defiance they keep the same amount of HP and need to be healed up for it to be effective.

You also need to wait 10 seconds in between each use. Defiance and Deliverance are off-gcd while Grit, Shield/Sword Oath are.

Live with it. It's designed to be like that as to differentiate the tanks from one another. From a PLD perspective, hitting shield oath the second time will cancel the buff without disrupting your combo so you can do something like (while being in shield oath) : Fast Blade -> Savage Blade -> cancel Shield Oath -> Royal Authority -> avtivate Shield Oath. Only downside is that you're vulnerable for 1 GCD and a few points of accuracy lower but you get more damage out of your Royal Authority. The same can be done with Goring Blade, imo.
