Having issues with socializing with people

Tell people you are female IRL, for some reason it makes people talk to you more, and help you with stuff more D:

It's not really the same as having a friend... I used to want to tell people my gender to get them to pay attention to me. I was naive and such... I still am. I was lonely... I still am.

I hide my gender now in game. That kind of attention just ends in trouble. People just get mad at you if you don't respond how they want. Not everyone you meet will do that, but enough to make it not fun anymore.

My recommendation to OP is just find a single friend or maybe more than one. Make your own linkshell and invite people you like. Some might leave but, maybe if you can make one good friend then that would be enough.
